A rather large Dit-TOE on that 1 AW, no doubt.
I had a cass tape w some of those JR show intros - it had a killer drum fill intro w horn kicks [that was sometimes in a diff killer rhythmic motif than the following groove line] into a shuffle-BB-type tune w horn lines...killer drum sound too. & the toms sounded awesome - big & phriggin' PHAT.

VINNIE COLAIUTA FREAKS !
Yesterday I posted an announcement about the 3.5 hours of brilliant, chance taking, polyrhythmic fills that Vinnie played at the beginning of each night's show caught on camera and taped by yours truly.
Yes, I want you all to see it, but please understand. I'm not computer savy, I do not have high speed internet, and would not know how to post on line.
My intention was to 'trade.' That's how I acquired most of my stuff, with the exception of quite a lot of the 1985 to 1988 stuff Vinnie did around LA, which was taped for me and sent to me...yet another project for me to transfer to CD. Yes, I need some help there too.
Anyway, I did not intend to mislead anyone who thought they would be able to download this material.
So, again, if you would like to trade please email me and I'll be happy to see what I can do.
(I am new at this so in near future [again if there is interest], I just hosted a drum workshop featuring my friend, Sean Rickman. Two hours with a trio playing and demonstrating how he plays those odd times so effortlessly as only he can.) I taped it on DV so a DVD transfer should be easy.
